Although CDPR has not revealed much about its cyberpunk game, it was revealed – during CD Projekt RED’s Balazs Torok and Krzysztof Krzyscin SIGGRAPH 2013 talk – that the game will be a mix of FPP and TPP. In short, this means that Cyberpunk 2077 will support both first person and third person perspectives.
CD Projekt RED’s developers did not reveal anything else other than it will be a futuristic story driven RPG with an open world for players to explore, and that it will feature both a dense city environment and surrounding wastelands.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in 2015 for PC and next-gen platforms.
Enjoy its CGI debut trailer one more time!

I get a type of motion sickness after playing 1st person games for more than 45 minutes at a time. I’ve read in several articles that it supports both first AND third person views, but I wonder if there are sequences that a certain viewpoint is required. Or are they saying that the player can switch between them?
This scares me. I better be able to play the whole thing third-person. This is easily my most anticipated game, but will be shattered if I have to endure FP.
now you cant i hate FPP for open world games
“will be released in 2015″…it’s 2017. Doubt we will see it until 2019.
I hope the 1st and 3rd person transition is like skyrim/fallout and not like Deux Ex.
