CD Projekt RED has just listed the current top reported issues for Cyberpunk 2077. According to CDPR, these are the top issues that CP2077 players have reported, and the ones that the team is currently working on fixing.
Now the reason we’re sharing this list is because it gives us an idea of what we can – more or less – expect from future updates. From the looks of it, CD Projekt RED will be focusing on addressing Quest bugs. And, since the game is once again available on PSN, I don’t really expect any major improvements.
To be honest, the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 was not as bad as the console versions. Don’t get me wrong, the game was rough in almost all areas. However, there weren’t a lot of game-breaking issues/bugs. And, disappointingly enough, CDPR may not further polish the game’s gameplay mechanics.
I mean, just take a look at these latest top reported issues for Cyberpunk 2077. You can clearly see that all of them are about quests, and none of them are about its gameplay, combat or dialogue systems.
It’s been six months since its release and CP2077 is almost as rough as it was at launch. So yeah, don’t get your hopes up.

I’d think the plethora of missing and butchered features is the top issue.

Sure bugfixing is nice… but if you aren’t going to fix the world and make it feel more immersive/alive then the game will always be lifeless garbage
My issues:
Pacing: the game wants you to rush through it, usually by chaining the main quests together, but even the sidequests try to make you rush: Judy Alvarez will tell you to give her three days before gathering the “dolls” to take over the Clouds club…only to call you 24 in-game hours later (and it’s usually while you’re helping Panam rescue Saul or taking the hovertank from Militech). The game tries to slow you down only one time and that’s when Rogue demands 15,000 eddies in payment for finding Hellman (and considering how easy it is to make money in this game, it should be 45,000).
No factions: Judy’s missions give an opportunity for the Mox to take the Clouds from the Tyger Claws, but this never happens. V is supposedly on good terms with the Valentinos due to her friendship with Jackie but we never see this outside of the Heroes mission. Doing missions for and against gangs should affect your relationship with their leaders, who happen to be your fixers.
Abilities: there are still a number of abilities that don’t work after putting points into them, like the “heal up to percentage of health outside combat” one.
Enemy Netrunnners: these should be a major threat. Every quickhack you can use should be used against you. Netrunner tries to detonate your grenade? Put points in the Engineering tree to limit your vulnerability to your own grenades. Netrunner uses contagion? Invest in cyberware and clothing mods to reduce poison. Even Cyberpsychosis should have a very small but not-zero chance of being used against you.
Most of these can be fixed without overhauling the entire game (a faction system would need a lot of work but I hope that comes with the expansions/dlc), and I hope they do. There is at least a mod that fixes the enemy netrunners.
Yep, pretty much this, plus technical issues like dying or taking damage from going up ramps.
you got few issues with the game and the fact the main story campaign takes 5 hours through it to get even remotely interest doesnt seem to pop up in the list.
Duh, it’s a role playing game not a 3-hour COD campaign. Even with its pacing issues it will still take you 20 hours to get through at minimum.

Most ignorant company ever. I hope their building burns down together with the CEOs and management department. As for the game developers I do not wish them any harm but they should school themselves more because any kind of calculation in the game is outright wrong and broken – nobody wants their stupidity to carry over to the next projects. Physics engine is absolutely broken, 90% of the skills are broken, stats don’t work and don’t add up correctly, the linear AI is worse than Mafia III’s and visually it’s broken too.
Yeah, these bug fixes are fine and all, but when are they adding some better AI and bringing some new content?
It’s been like half a year CDPR, what’s with the snail pace?
I think it goes something like this…
Covid-19 + Tons of Bugs + Getting Hacked + Losing their Director = QoL Improvments being pushed back and most likely added along side the future “Free DLCs” when those release starting (most likely) in the next few months through the end of the year.
They worked in the game since 2016…how issues in the last year would affect it this bad? they had no idea on what to do or how from the get go.
Some of these issues when this game was “feature complete” and the hacking when the game was already released a year later.
They are obviously working on something else which is probably the multiplayer portion of the game. They say it’s canned but you shouldn’t believe a thing they say. A team of 150 allocated people & outsourced companies working on updates can’t work so slow adding nothing but some idiotic quest fixes to the table for over half than a year.
I have read that they are not only working on the 2 expansions but they are already working on a new game. I have no idea what this new game will be though.
don’t forget Astral Chain, a great game that also has female characters that are actually attractive unlike CyberSJW 2077

Jesus Christ… guys it wasn’t even that bad. I played it on PC at launch and yes I experienced some bugs but the game was still really fun, has a very compelling world, and has excellent writing which is exactly what I wanted after Witcher 3. I understand that there were problems but I feel like people are making it seem like its an abomination. Its still a solid 7/10 game that could be a 9/10 if they were to fix all the bugs and add some QoL improvements.

If you actually played the game you would’ve noticed that it also has rain and fog and even dust storms. The sunshine doesn’t make it any less cyberpunk than Blade Runner, which took place in Los Angeles.

Cyberpunks biggest issue isn’t even the technical state. Ai is broken, theres no traffic nor crime system, the questing lacks the meaningful choices you got in the Witcher series, combat is janky and driving its even worse

what about the dead empty world? idiotic NPC’s, most doors are locked, only about 3 clubs can be visited, romance options are meager af and gay, cars can’t be costumized. And I heard bad things about that guy from Matrix being annoying af being all in your face all the time. I’d say this game is hopeless at this point, not even worth pirating.
