Onimusha Way of the Sword feature

Capcom has announced Onimusha: Way of the Sword, coming to PC in 2026

Now here is a pleasant surprise. At the TGA 2024 event, Capcom revealed a new Onimusha game, called Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be coming to PC in 2026, and below you can find its debut in-engine trailer.

In Onimusha: Way of the Sword, players will fight through bloodstained battlefields of intense swordplay action. Players will also explore the historic Japanese capital of Edo-era Kyoto, twisted by malevolent clouds of Malice.

Players will battle against monstrosities from the underworld known as Genma in a tale of dark fantasy.

In this new Onimusha game, we’ll follow the tale of a samurai who wields the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artifact that grants its bearer the power to slay Genma.

And that’s it. Capcom hasn’t revealed any additional details about it. From the looks of it, though, Onimusha: Way of the Sword is in a better state than PRAGMATA. So, we might be able to play it sooner than it. Crazy right?

Anyway, enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

  1. Onimusha is back! Okami is back! Heck, even Clover studio and Kamiya San himself is back at Capcom. Jesus Christ! I'm in tears man, damn! The 90s Golden CAPCOM is so back. If this goes like this I'm definitely sure we're getting Viewtiful Joe and God Hand sequels as well.

  2. It hasn't got monster hunter in the title, so it's doomed.
Onimusha 3 was so unbelievably awesome. Should pirate the others sometime.

      Hopefully not.

      Hopefully it fares well.

Dino Crisis should be the next one.

    1. Agreed, now would be a great time to re-release these, especially on PC. I only played 3 way back in the day, and despite the PC port being terrible I still had a good time with it.
