Blades of Fire Gets Official PC System Requirements

505 Games and MercurySteam have revealed the official PC system requirements for Blades of Fire. Blades of Fire is a new third-person action game that will come out May 22nd on PC via Epic Games Store. So, let’s see what PC you’ll need to run it.

PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-11700KF or AMD Ryzen 5800X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. With this PC setup, you will be able to run the game at 1080p/High Settings/60FPS with AMD FSR Performance Mode.

The devs recommend an Intel Core i7-11700KF or AMD Ryzen 5800X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. With such a PC system, you will run the game at 1440p/High Settings/60FPS with AMD FSR Balanced Mode.

For gaming at 4K, the devs recommend an Intel Core i7-11700KF or AMD Ryzen 5800X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. This PC system can run Blades of Fire at 4K/High Settings/60FPS with AMD FSR Balanced Mode.

Finally, for the best gaming experience, MercurySteam suggests using an Intel Core i7-13600K or AMD Ryzen 7600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. With such a high-end PC system, you can run the game at 4K/Ultra Settings/60FPS with AMD FSR Quality Mode.

Now as you may have noticed, MercurySteam has listed AMD FSR in all of its PC specs. So, this may disappoint those who wanted PC specs for native resolutions. But hey. At least they have not listed Frame Gen.

Anyway, I’ll be sure to test the game once I get my hands on it. So, stay tuned for more!

  1. there's no point in posting the requirements, nobody buys games on the Epic fail store hahaha LOL 👍🤣

      1. better than Epic store users who don't buy anything and redeem free games, what a useless market LOL 👍🤣

  2. Their games use proprietary MercuryEngine which is pretty well optimised historically so I'm sure it will work fine on a range of systems. But the game itself doesn't want to get buyers due to propaganda promotion.

    1. Range of systems? Minimum requirement is a 5800X/11700K

However that might be a misprint because the recommended and recommend 4K also say 5800X/11700K

      1. Could be or just be only tested specs I guess. Rarely any other company post system specs detailed as Rockstar where they explicitly list from about 10 or more different gpus tested in their readme file.

      2. because thats what they tested with and because thats what 60fps target. graphics settings do almost nothing to cpu.

  3. was thinking this would be my FULL price(support the devs) purchase this month.. EGS exclusive… nevermind. once on Steam, sure.

  4. mandatory upscaling for requirements is annoying
and the trailer failed to catch my attention, nothing very interesting going on, looks boring/generic

  5. John,

Here's another issue — The dev ONLY mentions FSR.

Does this mean potentially no DLSS upscaling? If this is true for 2025, you gotta be kidding me. Sigh

    First Epic store only
Now potentially, only FSR upscaling… lol

Shark Tank Voice, Mark Cuben smirk "Im Out."

  6. And why posting INTEL systems and not AMD as lot developers now gong AMD as faster as INTEL have lots errors with high end games and all mine are running fine on AMD 16 core 64gb ram and 12gb GPU with over 34tb space for games install.
