Game Science, the devs behind Black Myth: Wukong, have announced their latest game. Black Myth: Zhong Kui is the second entry in the Black Myth series, and it was officially unveiled today with its first CG teaser trailer at the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025.
Black Myth Zhong Kui will be a single-player action role-playing game. It will draw its primary creative inspiration from the famed Chinese folk figure “Zhong Kui”.
And that’s that. Since the game is in a very early development stage, there is no in-game footage available at this time. Again, the trailer you are about to see is a CG trailer. So, don’t expect the game to have the same image fidelity.
Black Myth: Wukong was an amazing game. As such, I’m really looking forward to Black Myth Zhong Kui.
Needless to say that you won’t play this new Black Myth game anytime soon. If I had to guess, I’d say this is a 2028 game. I’m not exaggerating here.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
