    1. Beginning? There are quite a few of these updated games with horrible graphics. Streets of Rage being the latest. Toe Jam, Street Fighter HD, Guardian Heroes HD (though decent).

  1. Not sure how on board to be with this. I was already disappointed in the art style 2 years ago. They took out the bombshell dominatrix type Dark Queen and replaced her with this Dee Dee from Dexters Lab looking nonsense. Giving the toads voices and silly hero aspirations is also stupid, and they didn;t even show the professor. Plus, at least in BT and DD, basically 100% of that game would be a liberal cryfest now – punching the whip ladies in the stomach, slamming them into the ground by their hair, beating the crap out of the black boss in the first level, stuff like that, so I imagine this will be generic..The 3D hyperbike sections kind of remove the infamous difficulty by making it easier to tell what to do. The music is not in line with the originals which was bada$s. The on screen combat looks very hectic and ridiculous, moreso than Castle Crashers. And they rehashed levels like BT and DD Level 4 – the awful atrocious space battle level. I’ll give it a try but I expect to be disappointed. G
