Battlefield V Open Beta begins in early September

DICE has announced that the open beta phase for Battlefield V will begin in early September. Although the team did not reveal any details about its game modes, we kind of expect to see the same that were available in the closed beta phase.

If that’s the case, the open beta will let players play the Conquest mode or the Grand Operation Fall of Norway. Taking place on the map Arctic Fjord, Fall of Norway lets you experience two of its in-game “days” and play two of the modes that the Grand Operation strings together: Airborne and Breakthrough.

DICE also claimed that it will showcase a new build of Battlefield 5 at Gamescom 2018.

The game is currently scheduled for an October 19th release!

  1. I enjoyed the closed Alpha. However I was not impressed by all of the crying from youtubers complaining about how the visuals are a distraction… I mean it’s a game. Enjoy the level of detail put into it.

Also I hope more is put into the beta in terms of gameplay. Really want to see how the drag animations are when helping a teammate.

    1. Well I get that. It’s one of the reasons I turn a lot of options off in BF1 for example. I just really liked the look of the game as well. I guess we will see how things go in the Beta to see if people have more control in the graphics options of what they want to be seen in the game

  2. Really pushing it for me to give a flying …. by then!
I miss the old days of just being surprised when a new game came out.

  3. remember what the ea devs said if you dont like it dont buy it.i hate people who buy games like cod,bf5 and destiny 2 then whine.
