Battlefield 4 – Now Free On Origin For The Whole Next Week

Well, you gotta admit that EA is at least smart. After offering for free Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger, the big publisher is adding Battlefield 4 to its Game Time program, thus offering DICE’s shooter for free for the whole next week.

PC gamers will have at their disposal 168 full hours (or 10,080 minutes if that sounds cooler) to play and enjoy both SP and MP modes of Battlefield 4.

This limited offer will last until August 14th.

The catch here is that you’ll have to download Origin in order to enjoy it. And we all know what the majority of PC gamers think about Origin.

Still, it’s good to see EA offering such clever deals, so kudos to them.

Enjoy and kudos to our reader ‘Sikandar Ali’ for informing us!

  1. It comes with FREE SPYWARE as well! Thought they would report on that story more. Say NO to EA, thats our motto!

    1. Otherwise known as FUD. Fear, uncertainty and doubt. You should look it up. EA’s policy is very similar to Valve’s policy regarding the collection of personally identifiable information.

    1. In my experience, the only issue I had was a bug that would make the game crash whenever I spawned in a vehicle that was being controlled by another player. And that bug was fixed fairly quickly.
