Battlefield 3: Reality Mod releases on July 17th, gets new trailer

The modding team behind the Reality Mod for Battlefield 3 has announced that it will release this highly anticipated project on July 17th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has also released a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.

BF3: Reality Mod is a Battlefield 3 modification that focuses on communication and teamwork. It draws inspiration from the successful BF2 “Project Reality” mod. The mod aims to offer a complete gameplay and UI overhaul that creates a more tactical and meaningful experience.

Battlefield 3 Reality Mod is built using the VU modding framework; a modification of BF3 that, among other things, will offer private server hosting, higher tickrate, built-in server browser and much more.

    1. I enjoyed 2142, but yeah.
      It really dumbed down the series and the trend continued, then again, EA fired all the original creators after buying out DICE slighlty after BF2s release so it was never going to happen.

      Thankfully, some really good people understood what DICE wanted with BF2 and have expanded on it with their own IPs.

    Sometimes I want to play this game again, but I don’t like playing on the keyboard anymore. I like to be lazy on my couch while playing.

    1. Me too! I do have wireless k&m, but it’s just not confortable enough.
      It’s not an excuse, I played with those almost my entire life, it’s just but a matter of choice now.

    1. Game was crashing all day today. You run for 5 minutes and you might see the enemy… Pretty boring turning BF3 into a milsim.. ADS is so slow as well.
