Banner Saga 3 – Kickstarter campaign hits its funding goal in a week

Great news for all RPG fans as Stoic’s Kickstarter campaign for Banner Saga 3 has met its funding goal in a week. The team has managed to raise $200K and there are still 36 days left until the end of its crowd-funding campaign.

In Banner Saga 3, players will embark on their final journey beyond the wall of Darkness to traverse the world unlike anything encountered in previous sagas. The beautifully hand drawn Viking role-playing adventure will once again test the player’s resolve through epic tactical battles against deadly adversaries where a player’s choice directly affects their personal journey.

Stoic has also revealed the first stretch goal for Banner Saga 3. If its Kickstarter campaign hits $250K, Stoic will make the dredge a playable race. Players will be able to take command of dredge heroes, order them in battle, and train them up through their ranks. Players will be able to unlock new abilities and discover new strategies when they place these dredge heroes on the battlefield alongside their human, varl, and horseborn allies.
