KOEI TECMO revealed today that Attack on Titan will be coming to Steam on August 30th. Attack on Titan closely follows the riveting storyline of the anime’s first season and focuses on the exploits of various key characters, putting the player in a position to relive its most shocking, courageous and exhilarating moments.
The game revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment in order to protect humanity from this overpowering foe.
While more information about the game’s plot, original content and playable characters will be unveiled in the coming weeks, KOEI TECMO has released the first batch of screenshots, as well as an action-packed trailer that can be viewed below.
Enjoy!

But but.. KOEI TECMO hate pc 🙁
expect a 30fps port with minimalistic graphics options
Koei’s been getting better about 30 fps locks lately (though those games are still always locked to 60 fps), but I’d still expect crap optimization and lazy options menus.
Wow, wasn’t expecting this on PC at all. To think just a few years ago PC versions of these niche titles would be unheard of. Things have changed quite a bit for the better thanks to Steam’s global outreach.
Much easier with x86 hardware (PC like) in consoles.
Yes, that’s also another major factor. x86 on console was a big boon for PC as well with previous console-only devs now switching over to PC more easily.
seems like their latest PC port was Arslan game and it was actually good compared to some of their other ports (60 fps,4K support and better graphics than PS4 version according to the top review on Steam page) so maybe there is hope. if their port team put some more effort behind the PC version this can sell a good amount on Steam.
hope they announce Toukiden 2 for PC.
i see you 1080p 30fps lock
i see you all over this game running inside an emulator
Nice now I wont need to buy a ps4 copy :O
Going full steam ahead
Awesome news, Now it better not be a sh*tty port.
But isn’t Toei known for garbage Ports? I would not preorder this after their last few screwups.
This is precisely the kind of game I’d probably only get on PC. The kind that I would normally pass straight up unless it was really cheap (Steam sale fodder, basically).
Another anime games for PC! hell yeah! bring it on
The trailer showed one of the most exciting battles in the manga…and the most shocking for me to read through. All those lives snuffed out like nothing!
That said I’m glad the PC is getting the game, too.
I like the show, but will it make a good game?
