Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy, which will take players to China, India and Russia and follow the stories of three cult Assassins. The first chronicle, set in China, will be available April 21st for download on PC. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be followed by Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, which will release separately.
Developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles brings the thrill of being a Master Assassin to 2.5D. Players will journey to three distinct civilisations and time periods throughout history including the Ming dynasty at the start of its downfall, the Sikh Empire as it prepares for war in India and the aftermath of the Red October revolution. Each chronicle stands on its own with a unique setting, art style, story and Assassin, but is tied together narratively.
Players will embody legendary Assassins, including Shao Jun from the animated short Assassin’s Creed Embers, and Arbaaz Mir and Nikolaï Orelov from the Assassin’s Creed graphic novels.

Unity was my first AC game… so I’m really looking forward to Victory.
Not so much this…. however, full blown AC’s for each of these locations would be worth $60 a pop for the visuals alone if you pro-rate the graphics forward the next few years.
Play AC2 it is the best.

well considering the first one was basicly unskippable cutscene, uber scripted mission, unskippable confession, ride the horse back to the hideout, get new weapon, unskippable cutscene and REPEAT… id say it is definetly better than the fisrt and cant say brotherhood or revelations were leaps and boudns better or god forbid the deathborring ac3. I have not played blackflag.
I agree, the gameplay of AC was a chore. But for me it’s the best in terms of presentation and setting. AC2 improved the gameplay but then that ending happened… holy mackerel, only FC3 was able to match my disappointment (coincidentally, I prefer FC2 and it sort of has the same problems as AC).
true but it continued with brotherhood. Honestly ac2, brotherhood and the decent revelations are the highlights of ubisoft as far as last gen goes.
Then ac3 had to come out and ruin the modern story and now the series is HUR DUR NEW SETTING VR GUYS, BUY OUR SHT!!!
Nah, for me AC2 ruined what got me interested in the series: the Templars vs Assassins conflict. When the ancient ones or whatever where introduced it threw my right off.
Well it was part of the first one, anyway ac3 killed that too and now its HEY GUESS WHAT? VR STUFF GO THERE KILL TEMPLARS no story or continuation.
you are gonna love black Flag/Rogue gameplay wise. probably the best ship battle simulator out there. i am no expert in that matter though.
you are gonna love AC2 storywise. Brotherhood and Revelations follow AC2.
AC3 sorta attaches the games above to one another but it is the most boring one. it’s not like they didn’t try. they just missed their shot. there is a beauty in AC3’s protagonist’s solitude but they never go deep enough in that route.
Play Assassins creed Revelations, I believe its the best Assassins creed game using the older formula of mechanics.

Holy crap i mean seriosuly the assasins creed franchise has become so mainstream it has turned into spinoffs. We know the next one is taking place at another generic setting. They better make the very next one in one of the locations upthere. i didnt enjoy AC2, brotherhood and revelations because they had another generic setting.
