Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia & India Coming In January & February, Respectively

Ubisoft today announced that Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, the final episodes of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy, will be available for download respectively on January 12 and February 9, 2016, on the PC.

Moreover, the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack, which includes all three episodes, will be available as a digital store bundle on the PC starting February 9th.

Developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles brings the thrill of being a Master Assassin to 2.5D.

“Players journey to three distinct civilizations and time periods throughout history, including the Ming dynasty at the start of its downfall, the Sikh Empire as it prepares for war in India, and the aftermath of the Red October Revolution. Each chronicle stands on its own with a unique setting, art style, story and Assassin, but they are all tied together narratively. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, the first episode, released in April 2015.”

The second episode, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, throws players into the tension between the Sikh Empire and the private armies of the British-owned East India Company in 1841.

“When a Master Templar arrives with a mysterious item that used to belong to the Assassin Order, Arbaaz Mir must discover why the Templar has come, steal back the item and protect his friends and his lover.”

The final episode, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, takes place in 1918 when Assassin Nikolaï Orelov must complete one last mission for the Assassin Order before he can leave with his family. His mission: infiltrate the house where the Tsar’s family is being held by the Bolsheviks and steal an artifact that has been fought over by Assassins and Templars for centuries.

“While too late to save the Tsar’s entire family, he manages to save the princess, Anastasia, whom he must protect as he escapes the Templars with her and the artifact in tow.”

  1. How many Assassin’s Creed games have they released so far on every platform. I can’t name all of them TBH.

        1. Just keep milking it, Ubisoft.

If they want they’ll continue with the AC franchise to cover every country in the world. That would make nearly 200 titles under the AC banner.

Then they can continue to space where they can make the Templars and Assassins continue their fight across thousands of planets. After that is done then they can make those two fight across another thousand of worlds in parallel dimensions.

I guess the final thousand series of the AC franchise would be the two opposing sides battling it out inside the Animus universe itself.

          1. When I wrote the part about making AC set in every country I realized that would make Ubisoft the first people to digitally preserve the world’s history and culture in an interactive form. That was the vibe I got from the first AC but the repetitive nature of later games drove me away.

These games that are being made with some adherence to history can be a beneficial tool in teaching history.

          2. if you told me a few years ago they would make a ac game in industrial revolution london i would be like FF YES, now however there is nothing new on them, just copy pasted gameplay with a new skin and ofcourse there is no culture or history preserved but perverted to appeal to sjw marxists.

          3. Yeah. The tiresome copy paste nature of yearly franchises have kept me from joining in. Funnily it was BF3, not one of the COD titles, that drove me away from yearly releases. I enjoyed BF Bad Company 2’s multiplayer but with BF3’s far too familiar feel I only like it a little bit. I didn’t buy BF4 and Hardline.

The same thing happened with Far Cry. I enjoyed FC3 immensely but I didn’t buy FC4 because it feels like a re-skin. The upcoming FC: Primal has some interesting ideas like the Beastmaster but if the tamed beasts are just mere replacements for the typical modern warfare gears(the tigers as extra weapons and transport , the owl as binoculars/surveillance drone and the mammoth as tanks) then I’ll give it a pass.

And yeah, I find the latest AC finally broke the dev team’s dedication to accuracy. I was in awe with what they try to achieve in the first game but I was disappointed when they started using historical figures as mission dispensers in the sequels and it became the second reason why I avoided the AC series. I hated that trope in movies(I don’t mind if it’s a passing gag or to show the setting of a story like Indiana Jones getting Hitler’s autograph) and hated it even more when it became a big part of a game. It’s ironic that the latest AC panders to SJW marxists in terms of game settings and then have you running errands for the father of Marxism.

          4. I hated 3 but 4 is ok, it is a reskin, yes but it fixes the problems of 3 and focuses more on open world gameplay than utterly scripted missions.

  2. I am very big fan of dsogaming and never posted here but seeing this news I couldn’t resist I mean is this a joke or what, are they serious or insane.People haven’t even started playing assassins creed syndicate yet and they are releasing this crap.Looks like they have some gamble to win with COD.Seriously so many assassins creed nowadays I feel like vomiting now.

  3. Good, now I just need to wait for Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Syria and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: USA, and I’m good to go!
