Studio Wildcard has unveiled a game-changing content update coming soon to the dinosaur survival adventure ARK: Survival Evolved. The TEK Tier update is described as ab endgame content in ARK’s crafting system that rewards hard-working players with awesome sci-fi armor, weapons, structures and gear.
The TEK Tier will put players in power armor granting them advanced abilities, and add powerful TEK saddles with mounted energy weapons to the capabilities of some favorite dinos.
As the press release reads:
“Want to snipe at enemy tribes with a plasma rifle while tearing across the map with a jet pack? How about living under the ocean in a vacuum sealed Underwater Base, fully protected from the hazards of land and sky? Look for all of this and much more as the TEK Tier rolls out in free updates to ARK: Survival Evolved on Steam PC and Xbox One in the coming weeks and months.”
The TEK Tier is said to be coming to ARK: Survival Evolved in early 2017.

Whens the optimization TEK patch coming in?
Most important question. Can’t have or play a game and it’s content without actual optimization.

Well, making bank on Early Access forever and the sky would be the limit right?
So space is next? Rocket powered dinosaurs? Different planets to explore, “No Man’s Ark” they would call it, and then when the whole galaxyisconqueredtheywould…IdontknowwhereIamgoingwiththis…
Remember that moon mod?. I think they saw a potential roof/gold mine to go for, would be my guess.
I’m all for good looking Scifi content, but I’m also very,, very much for optimized scifi content, you know that I can actually play?.
I’ve held off playing Ark for some months now. I really want to hold out hope that the final release comes out polished, if not I blame them constantly adding content and not paying attention to crunch times.
I like how this was supposed to come to xbox one and i’m pretty sure that’s still not even close to happening while they keep on adding more stuff without fixing current issues. And of course we can’t forget scorched earth.
So I got into Ark a bit. The game runs like crap no doubt but didn’t feel horrible. It was rather smooth for being in the 30-45fps range.
That being said the PVP servers are so wild , wild west its not even worth making progress because it can be destroyed so easily. The PVE servers you can’t even build a house anywhere. People have placed these small pillars everywhere and it keeps you from being able to build within a certain distance. The whole damn map is full of them.
On _most_ PvE servers people will remove pillars if you ask in the global chat.
