Apogee’s first-person survival horror game, Total Chaos, has been released

Apogee has just released Trigger Happy’s first-person survival horror game, Total Chaos. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared a new trailer that you can find below.

Total Chaos is a new survival-horror game made by Trigger Happy Interactive, the same team that created Turbo Overkill. This time, they’ve made a game full of mystery, danger, and creepy monsters. In Total Chaos, you play as a survivor trying to stay alive on a strange and haunted island called Fort Oasis. You’ll need to search for useful items, build weapons, and listen to a mysterious voice on your walkie-talkie as it guides you through the dark and dangerous places on the island.

The game is designed to feel very immersive. As such, it will attempt to pull you into its world and make you feel like you’re really there. As you explore, you’ll go through nine intense chapters, each filled with fear, suspense, and puzzles to solve. The island is covered in broken buildings, creepy rooms, and abandoned places. These areas tell a story on their own through the things you find, like strange notes, haunting images, and unsettling surprises.

One of the coolest features in Total Chaos is its environmental storytelling. This means that instead of only using cutscenes or dialogue, the game lets you discover the story by looking at the world around you. Every room, object, and sound helps you learn more about what happened on Fort Oasis—and what might happen to you if you’re not careful. As you play, you’ll also start to uncover the main character’s mysterious past.

Surviving on this island won’t be easy. You’ll have to craft your own weapons by picking up scraps and supplies you find while exploring. You can then upgrade those weapons to make them stronger and more useful against the terrifying creatures hunting you. The enemies are strong and scary, so having the right tools can mean the difference between life and death.

The game also includes an inventory system, where every item you pick up is important. You won’t be able to carry everything, so you’ll need to make smart choices about what to keep and what to leave behind. Your survival will depend on quick thinking and smart decisions.

Finally, you can download a demo to try before buying from here.

Have fun!
