Electronic Arts has announced the dates for the VIP Demo of Anthem, as well as the Open Demo. According to the press release, fans who pre-order Anthem, as well as EA Access and Origin Access subscribers, will get access to the VIP Demo on January 25th.
On the other hand, all players will have a chance to step into their Javelins and experience Anthem for themselves on February 1st. Both demos will be available on Origin for PC, Xbox One and PS4. VIP Demo players will be the first Freelancers to face the dangers of the world of Anthem, and will receive an in-game item celebrating their trailblazing spirit.
Mike Gamble, Lead Producer for Anthem, said:
“It’s time for the fans to get their hands on Anthem and experience it for themselves. We truly hope they enjoy this taste of flying and fighting in this brand-new world our team has been crafting for many years.”
Bioware has also confirmed that the progress you make in both the VIP and open demos will not transfer to the final game!

Hope it’s being improved a ton since last weeks alpha.
Is the game as basic as it looks or is there more to it?
Cannot confirm nor deny.
Yes.
Destiny is O.K. if your life is falling apart and you have nothing but self loathing left to get you by.
Why is destiny bad. Its a shooter above everything else, with a twist I don’t understand the negativity
It’s very basic, lacks any depth, and essentially boils down to repeating the same one task over and over in order to make numbers go up via repeating, randomized items. It’s also slow.
Its a shooter brio and what it does, it does it good.
That game for me was Warframe. I think I have about 200 hours into that game…
As long as it works for you enjoy. Everyone has their own thing 🙂
Too bad there wasn’t that much to do in the closed alpha. It was fun though and the graphics were pretty good.
The Alpha was very fun. I can safely recommended to at least try the game out when its open for everyone 🙂
Destiny 76
This is risky. Andromeda also had 10h demo and most people hated it so they did not buy it after trying it out.
