Okay, this is either one of the biggest leaks we’ve ever seen or someone at Amazon France is trolling gamers. Alongside Days Gone and Persona 5 Royal for the PC, Amazon France has listed Gran Turismo Sport and Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection for the PC.

There is a possibility that these leaks are all of Sony’s E3 2020 PC announcements. I mean, so far we’ve only seen PC versions of PS4 games appearing on Amazon France. We’ve seen this happening in the past when Walmart Canada leaked a bunch of games. So yeah, this could be real.
We’ve also heard a rumor earlier this year about Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection coming to the PC. The source of that leak was not credible which is why we haven’t shared it with you.
It will be interesting to see Sony’s response regarding these leaks. It will also be interesting to see whether Amazon France will take down these product pages or not.
As we’ve said in our previous articles, take these PC listings with a grain of salt.

There is also now a PC page for The Last of Us 2. Hell, there is even a page for Super Mario Odyssey for the PC. And you know that this won’t happen, ever. So yeah, these latest PC listings are most likely fake or placeholders. Again, it will be interesting to see how Sony reacts to this. It will also be interesting to see which of these games will be indeed coming to the PC.

Sony has issued a statement, claiming that these listings are not accurate.

I don’t think so. Sony is a hardware company first and foremost. Always have been. They’ve also been very vocal about how they believe in console generations. I don’t see them ever doubling down on PC (I wouldn’t, despite preferring PC). Consoles are their honey pot.

Only the processor/GPU. The rest of the system was Sony aside from RAM and HDD. This is the same way any hardware company does things anyway. Even motherboard manufacturers outsource parts of them.

An Apu isn’t a motherboard… It’s a processor with on board graphics hardware. It is socketed into the motherboard.
and in order to work it has to be one with the mobo.
Fused? It can be socketed. Technically all of Intel’s processors are APUs. It’s just terminology and even AMD has stated they’re moving away from the term APU.
Don’t forget the stream, PSnow is on PC and probably more options are coming, let’s wait and see.
But their PS brand/consoles are literally the only thing keeping them afloat. Why would they change it?
They’re leading with their model and doing very well with it. Sure, they will diversify (all companies should) but they won’t give up on consoles until the customers do, and the numbers show we are not. They follow the money.
Don’t forget that we are talking about the future 10+ years from now.

Entertainment companies are getting more incline to offer a platform-service than having to manufacture a product…if games went digital (all of them, besides collectors edition which will remain, the same way you can buy a vynil for music) eventually the hardware will follow (once the internet infraestructure is reasonable to pull it off, unless you are looking for a new Stadia)

I hate the thought of it, but, it’s just the way it is. Dedicated, exclusive hardware, is just a dying notion.
PlayStation itself, will of course continue on, just in a different form.

I would love some competition then, is a series that has been limited since the first game by the console was in (and i say this as a fan of the first Gran Turismo, a masterpiece on PSX)
True, i never had a PS1 but i was introduced to the series by GT3 in the demo disc of my PS2, than i had countless hours on GT4 which is fantastic, the career, the graphics, the cars, the handling… Actually GT Sport is decent, far better than 5 and 6, but still needs to be more ambitious to compete with Forza

They are already crying because of Death Strandig (a piece of crap) and Horizon (i barely remember about this game) imagine all this exclusives that have more relevancy and history in the brand…Sony is clearly testing the waters, and makes sense to me since their focus is PS5 from now on.
Uncharted Collection seems reasonable. Add that with The last of us remastered (maybe this will come to PC since TLOU2 is in limbo). Both are old games that fit to gauge interest on PlayStation game PC port…
Uncharted TND Collection was given for free for PS+ members this week, so the vast majority of PS players will get it, and the game will become almost not profitable in the future, it makes sense to go on PC now, maybe this giveaway was some PR stunt to anticipate the anger of the fans after the official announcement, like “hey you got it for free, why you’re b*ching ?”

TLOU2 was canned so this cant possibly be real. Even PS4 isnt getting that game so I highly doubt its releasing for PC.
