Agony has been delayed

Madmind Studio’s first-person survival horror game that is powered by Unreal Engine 4, Agony, was meant to hit Steam on March 30th. However, the team has announced that the game has been delayed, and there is no ETA on when it will come out.

As Madmind Studio stated:

“Sadly we have to inform you that March 30th will not be the release date. We will inform you as soon as possible with the final release date of the game. Why is this? -With Agony being released across PS4, PC and Xbox we are facing last steps including polishing to support every player- no matter which platform – with the best possible experience. We wish this could have been done faster but ask for your patience to ensure you get the experience you deserver when Agony is released.”

Agony is a first-person, survival horror set in HELL, in which players begin their journey as a tormented soul within the depths of the abyss without any recollections of their past. The game will give players the special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, thus giving them the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in.

We’ll be sure to let you know when the game will release, so stay tuned for more!

  1. This game looks good on paper but not so much in the gameplay videos. I hope they found a way to make it interesting to play.

      1. They more or less have already said that it’s an experience where you can posses some demons and use their powers for various things. It’s going to be a partial walking simulator, where as the other game coming out that takes place in hell Scorn is supposed t get “doom like” at points.

Of course I take that with a grain of salt as should every body.

          1. That’s what I’ve taken to calling these games, because they’re not exactly Walking Simulators, since they have game play; but they do have some form of walking around and looking at the pretty, well in the case extremely hellish atmosphere.

    1. Sounds like a delay for the sake of consoles though but even so i can’t blame them. they don’t even have enough money to advertise for PC so once whatever hype it generates from youtubers dies after release it can be hard to attract the rest.

  2. I wish they’d ditch the whole Hell aesthetic and just make it a shooter set in WW2, or make it a turn-based fighting game. Or a point and click adventure about a young girl finding romance during the summer of 1972 in Portland, Maine. Something interesting.

    1. Nipple you got a cool ten coming your on the 1972 Portland. Maine romance story. Will it be about finding a boy to take to the ice cream socia in your fathers new Plymouth?
