Microsoft has just announced that Age of Empires: Definitive Edition will release on February 20th. Age of Empires Definitive Edition will feature full remastered visuals with 4K support, new zoom levels, new and improved gameplay, as well as a fully remastered soundtrack.
This Definitive Edition of the classic strategy game will come with tons of new features, such as an Attack Move, 250-300 population cap, Rally Points Basic, Rally Points Contextual (Intelligent Villagers), Grid default key layout, Unit queuing and Right-click mouse scroll.
For Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, Microsoft has rebuilt assets for a modern 4K presentation, will allow players to play online with Xbox LIVE (in addition to LAN play), added campaign narration for every mission and enhanced the campaign and scenario editor, which allows anyone to make original custom campaigns for the game, by letting players easily share them with other players around the world.

not bad at all, they’ll release it on their garbage store as always and no one buys it then they’ll release the optimized version on steam and this way steam will take a cut from microsoft so it’s win win for us, we get an optimized game and microsoft will get less money
it is not garbage i bought gears of war 4 2 weeks ago finished it 4 days ago on max settings 1440p at 55 fps with my ryzen 1700 16 gb 3200 gtx 970 and didnt have any issues

i agree with you.It dont have any action so i wont touch it. i play all action games(fps tps, hack n slash e.t.c.) but this is not fps or tps or hack n slash or even action rpg like nier mass effect and witcher are so i dont care for it!

Same here. Never had a problem with the windows store and I bought GoW Remake and Forza Horizon 3 there.
All I’ve heard are bad things about the store, nice to hear you haven’t had any problems. This will be my first purchase from them, so let’s see….

Get the 30 day free trial for the Xbox Game Pass and download GoW 4 for free and finish it within a month and then cancel the free trial. That’s how I played GoW 4 for free.
