Now here is something cool. In July 2025, we shared Super Mario Bros Remastered for PC. For those who don’t know, Super Mario Bros. Remastered is a fan remake of the classic NES Mario game for PC. And today, we are happy to share a Minecraft Pack for it.
Super Mario Bros. Remastered has been recreated from the ground up. As such, it has improved physics, audio, and graphics. It also has support for full wide-screen monitors. As such, you will see more of the level now on your PC monitor screens. The game includes The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. Special, and an overhauled All Night Nippon: Super Mario Bros.
This Minecraft Pack makes most of the sprites and levels look like they are from Minecraft. It is a fun mix of Minecraft and Super Mario. If you want to play the classic Super Mario games in a Minecraft style, you can download the pack from here. Do note that this is a demo. As such, it does not cover every level theme and enemy yet.
Another cool resource pack is this one. This pack will change the game’s graphics to make them look similar to the Super New Mario Bros. game that came out on Nintendo Wii. What’s cool here is that the mod retains the game’s original 2D style. So, in a way, you get a great mix between the old and new Super Mario Bros. series.
For our Game Boy fans, there is a mod that can turn Super Mario Bros. Remastered into something like Super Mario Land. This will give the fan game a more retro and grey feel. You can get it from here.
Finally, we have an 8-bit Sonic pack. This pack changes all sprites to those from Sonic. It retains the level design of the Mario games, but it also changes the music to that of Sonic. It’s hilarious to see Sonic act like Mario. This will put a smile on the face of those who wanted to see Sonic in a Mario game. You can download it from here.
Super Mario Bros. Remastered is easily one of the best fan games for PC. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend doing so. You can download it from this link. As for the New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Sonic packs, you can find them here and here.
Have fun, everyone!
