GeneralTantor has released a brand new version of a must-have mod for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Star Wars Jedi Knight Remastered.
Star Wars Jedi Knight Remastered 2.0 features JkGfxMod, the Jedi Knight Neural Upscale Texture Pack and the Enhancement mod, all together in a nice installer. Additionally, it packs a FOV Mod, and patches the game with the unofficial patch.
The biggest feature of Version 2.0 is by far JkGfxMod. JKGFXMOD improves performance in certain scenarios and brings a number of quality of life improvements. For instance, it offers proper HUD scaling and a hardware-accelerated windowed mode. Furthermore, it improves graphics by offering 32-bit color, Bloom, Ambient Occlusion and Parallax Mapping.
Moreover, this mod has the Enhancement Mod for JkGfxMod. This Enhanced Mod features higher detail models from JKE and the JK community. It also readjusts lightsabers, muzzle flashes, and explosions.
As said, Star Wars Jedi Knight Remastered 2.0 comes with the Jedi Knight Neural Upscale Texture Pack. This HD Texture Pack uses AI techniques in order to overhaul the game’s original textures.

Frame rate looks choppy. I’m not seeing a lot of difference, but it has been long time since played the game.
I played the older version of this mod and it’s a HUGE upgrade over the original graphics. It basically makes Jedi Knight look like Jedi Outcast. The game is still a ton of fun, too.
I’d love to get my hands on an update to the original Dark Forces. Far superior game, IMO, limited by a dated engine.
