Now here is a really cool mod for Resident Evil Requiem. Modder ‘Raq’ has just released this mod that replaces The Girl with the Xenomorph from Alien: Isolation.
For those who did not know, The Girl is a big monster that hunts Grace in the first part of Resident Evil Requiem. For the most part, players have to hide from or evade it.
In Alien: Isolation, players have to hide from or evade the Xenomorph. Because of that, this mod ends up being the perfect crossover between the two franchises. From a lore standpoint, it makes no sense for a Xenomorph to appear in Resident Evil. However, in an alternate universe, it’s easy to imagine the Umbrella Corporation experimenting on a Xenomorph and unleashing it.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.
Capcom released Resident Evil Requiem last month, and it has met commercial success. On PC, RE: Requiem had a better launch than all the previous Resident Evil games. According to SteamDB, Requiem had a peak of 344K concurrent players. It’s also worth noting that the PC version runs great, especially if you don’t enable its Ray Tracing or Path Tracing effects.
What’s funny here is that the game uses five different DRMs on PC. And, despite that, it runs extremely well, even on older GPUs. Moreover, NVIDIA has fixed the performance issues that were related to its drivers. So, right now, you can download the NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 595.76 and have a great gaming experience.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve also seen some other mods for Resident Evil Requiem. For instance, we got the RenoDX Mod, which overhauls the game’s HDR. Another mod came out that completely disables the game’s Film Grain effect. There is also a mod that lets you adjust the game’s FOV.
All of these mods use REFramework. And, I’m happy to report that its nightly version fixes the crash issues that could occur with Title Update 1.1.1.0. As such, you can use all these mods with the latest version of Resident Evil: Requiem.
Have fun!
