Modder ‘Yorpie’ shared a new mod for Cyberpunk 2077. This mod is all about making the police system in the game even better. It takes what the developers did to improve the law enforcement system and makes it even cooler.
Let’s now dive deeper into this Law Enforcement Overhaul Mod. The mod adds a bunch of new types of police units and vehicles that can come after you. This means you might get chased by tough SWAT trucks, giant Mechs, techy Netwatch agents, county sheriffs, detectives, and MaxTac ground vehicles.
The mod also makes some small but handy changes. The way the police react now will depend on where you are in the city. In high-class areas, you’ll notice the newer police cars, but in the poorer parts of town, you’ll see the older ones. Plus, it’ll take longer to shake off the cops when they’re after you.
To wrap it up, the mod also changes how many police show up when you’re in trouble. When your wanted level is low, only a few cops will come, and they’ll take their time getting there, just like in real life. But when things get really intense, you’ll see a bit more police action.
Those interested can go ahead and download the mod from here.
If you’re into Cyberpunk 2077, there are some other cool mods you should check out. You can get the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker, which makes taking pictures even cooler. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Oh, and don’t forget the Metro System Mod. Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Halk Hogan PL shared a new version of the HD Reworked Project that makes the game look better. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

This mod is cool
Two good mods in a single day (this and the FNV texture seam one)? You’re pampering us, John. Come on, go ahead and post an UE5 sh*tshow… I mean tech demo. You earned it.
whats with the screenshot? Can you max payne dodge your way out of a fight?
I think Lawless Areas mod is better if you don’t particularly like a gta night city experience, they have way too many police all over just to highlight the new system, which really only needed some minor tweaks like spawning and general behavior. You can still just go into a store and stars are gone with the new system lol They don’ t do combat inside places. This might be compatible but seemed to introduce bugs if you have both mods installed.
1.6x was fine they didn’t need to waste time on a whole new perks etc systems, time needed to be spent on bugs and general writing and more content, there is really not much for what they are charging for it and the other 85% of the world didn’t get squat other than dumbaf autogenerated car stealing which was done half axxed. Rather have autogenerated car/bike racing than the GTA system they put in. Last cpdur game I’ll even take free tbh.
