Modder “Xurec” has made an awesome new mod for Cyberpunk 2077. This lore-friendly mod adds more breaks, better pacing, and more roleplay moments to the main story. As such, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to replay the game.
Going into more details, fixers, clubs, and merc handlers will no longer hand out jobs to just anyone. Some main missions will now require a minimum Street Cred to access. Therefore, players will have to earn their reputation before the city gives them anything in return.
Main missions, side quests, and gigs are no longer given to you all at once. Instead, you get them over time through events and Street Cred milestones, making the story feel slower and more immersive. You’ll also get lore-friendly messages from characters like Jackie, Viktor, Dum Dum, Brick, and more, all built right into the game’s messaging system.
Gigs have been changed so that each fixer now has their own Street Cred requirements. These are based on their personality, power in their district, and relationship with V. In the original game, only Rogue and Muamar had real requirements. This mod changes that. Now, every fixer has their own unlock path, making your rise in the merc world feel more meaningful.
In short, this is a mod that a lot of CP2077 fans may find interesting. After all, it will change the way you experience its main story. In a way, it will make it fun to replay it. So, go ahead and download it from this link.
Speaking of CP2077, here are some other great mods for it. For starters, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, as well as other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Then we have this mod that adds a cool Grand Theft Auto-inspired Taxi Driver Mode. Oh, and don’t forget these mods that allow you to play as Ciri from The Witcher 3. Plus, there is a cool Urban Survival Immersion Μod, as well as a Story-Driven Rent System Mod.
If you don’t want to pay for a graphical mod, you can improve the game’s graphics with the following free mods. For instance, you can use the Ultra+ Mod. Not only does it improve the quality of Path Tracing, but it also improves performance. Its creator has claimed that it can speed up PT performance by 30-40%.
If, on the other hand, you don’t want to use it, you can try some other Path Tracing/Ray Tracing Mods. For instance, this mod disables all the fake lights when using PT/RT. And then we have this mod that can improve the path-traced reflections.
There are also some free HD Texture Packs to use. For example, you can use Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked or this other HD Texture Pack that improves all trees. There’s also another pack that improves the textures of almost all buildings, terrain, and environments. However, these packs don’t work together. Therefore, you’ll have to use only one of them.
Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API, which enables ChatGPT support. Responsive NPCs is another cool mod that enables dynamic NPC reactions. Don’t sleep on it, as it can enhance your gaming experience. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were cut from the game.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Forgot to add back the leveled areas and add a microtransaction shop so you can buy xp boosters to skip the boring parts like ubislop games.
I doubt this is a good mod for a replay, it will just increase padding and gridding overall, similar to those survival style mods.
Ah yeah, let's switch the game into Mafia 3, no thanks
Yeah if you enjoy the game you will play side missions first aniways. But i coudn't grind those random hostage situations, that got boring.
Any randomly generated content should be ignored period, whatever the game
I wouldn't say "better" as much as "alternative" or maybe "immersive". It would make story progression much slower, and side quests were a great way to take breaks when you wanted a breather. By default, it gives you the kind of narrative pace you want rather than pick up several specific side quests you'd rather bail.
That being said, if you are looking for more lore heavy immersion it's not that bad, but it would make it more on-rails story wise and with subsequent playthroughs you already know what to expect. I would not suggest it for firsts.
There are places where the story pacing in Cyberpunk is bad. Probably due to the last minute rush to get the game out the door. I'm not sure I would consider this mod a good solution to that, but it might still be worth a try anyway.
