Modder ‘fromsoftserve’ has just released version 0.8 of the Bloodborne Remaster Project that you can enjoy on PC via shadPS4. This mod will make Bloodborne look even better on PC. So, let’s take a closer look at what its latest build brings to the table.
For those unaware, Bloodborne Remaster Project aims to provide the best visuals for it. The mod enables dynamic shadowcasting for the entire game. It also modifies the range and visibility of shadows. Not only that but it packs some higher-quality textures.
And that’s not all. This mod even adds new lights to the game. Plus, it adds pointlights for street lamps, and wall lamps, and many will be shadowcasting as well. The mod also enables more ambient occlusion to be used by the game, by modifying the gparam files. Hell, it even adds parallax occlusion mapping to various surfaces.
In other words, this is what you’d expect from an official remaster of it. And, since this is a mod, PC players can enjoy it for free. Now this is why we love mods.
Anyway, Version 0.8 fixes the fog in pretty much every area. It also adds more point lights in central Yharnam, Byrgenwerth, and the Cathedral Ward. Moreover, it adds parallax occlusion mapping to some areas of Old Yharnam.

As I’ve reported, Bloodborne can be played from start to finish on PC via shadPS4. Performance seems to be great, though emulation is not yet 100% perfect. As such, you might encounter some bugs and visual glitches here and there.
And there you have it. Although Sony does not have any plans for a Bloodborne Remaster, you can actually enjoy such a thing on PC.
Now I know that a lot of PS5 fans were disappointed earlier this month as they were hoping for Sony to announce a remake or a remaster of it. Sadly, this did not happen. And, at this point, you should not expect a remaster to come out anytime soon. So, the only way to properly enjoy Bloodborne right now is on PC via shadPS4.

Upon TLoU2 release I was "Anti-Woke" phase and watched 100s of hours of tear downs and analysis….NEVER ONCE was the OBVIOUS juice propaganda mentioned. Only on the crazy "DarkSide" of gaming forums was that aspect ever mentioned. Now after reading Unz/100+ banned/out of print(those are the only TRUTH based) books its so obvious what happened …. 100% juice subversion… same tact since the roman days.(worked in Persia,Spain,Greece,Germany,Poland,Ottoman,etc) truly amazing, this knowledge of their constant force was "lost" after ww2. Watch "Warstrike" on Odysee, #1.

I still don't get why this game is some holy grail, looks like a souls game right? I get the nostalgist stuff but I wasn't into consoles since buying xbox for gta4, last one I owned(besides 3ds a couple years ago for travel, long sold). I just don't see how this is better then ds3, elden etc It is impressive they've been able to emulate it and also mod it though, not taking anything away from that, great for game preservation and such.
Are you trying to get Sony to shut this down…..
