And here it is, the debut gameplay trailer of Company of Heroes 2 has been released. Company of Heroes 2 is planned for an early 2013 release, exclusively on the PC, and will be powered by Relic Entertainment’s new Essence Engine 3.0 and its ColdTech system. ColdTech includes an ‘extreme cold’ mechanic which accurately encapsulates the Soviet winter which reached extremes of -40 degrees F in 1941. Splash Damage has revealed the teaser trailer of its upcoming game, that will be exclusive to the PC and will be called Dirty Bomb. Although the company did not reveal much, we do know that this is going to be a PC Multiplayer Shooter (free-to-play) and will be powered by Unreal Engine. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 3 that focuses on the co-op mode that will be featured in it. DICE and Electronic Arts have released the launch trailer of Aftermath. In Battlefield 3: Aftermath, players fight for supremacy amongst shattered streets and buildings across four earthquake ravaged maps. This launch trailer features footage from all four maps and features the new crossbow, vehicles, and the new Scavenger game mode where players armed only with a pistol must search the environment for more powerful weapons. Electronic Arts has released the launch trailer of Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC. This new single player DLC expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3 by allowing players to return to the seedy and unsavory levels of Omega to fight alongside fan favorite Aria T’Loak. This new chapter in Commander Shepard’s journey will also add powerful weapons and introduce never-before-seen characters to the franchise. Mass Effect 3: Omega will be available to download on Xbox LIVE and Origin starting today and on PlayStation Network in North America on November 27 and in Europe on November 28 for £11.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points. It’s really funny, but Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was meant to hit streets before Sniper Elite V2. City Interactive, though, decided to delay its sniper title, and presented today a new gamepaly teaser for it. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 feels like a mix between Call of Duty and Sniper Elite V2. It seems heavily scripted and – as the title suggests – players will rely on their sniper rifle. Unfortunately, the bullet balistics seem as basic as they can get, and we’re pretty sure that most players will be disappointed with them. Frontier Developments has revealed a new gameplay clip from its upcoming Elite sequel, Elite: Dangerous. This video showcases the multiplayer mode and the some of the ships that will be featured in it. As you may have guessed, Elite: Dangerous is still in pre-alpha stage, thus there is no HUD and the ship trails are simple placeholders. Remember the RendeZook video for Battlefield 3, a video that showcased amazing skills? Remember earlier last week a new version of it, in which a player was able to destroy the AC130 with a rocket launcher? Well, get ready for more impressive stuff, as YouTube’s member ‘t4ct1x1’ has managed to destroy two planes – with a rocket launcher – while piloting a helicopter.
