PREY – New 4K screenshots released, showcasing environments, enemies and characters

Bethesda has released some new screenshots for Arkane’s Prey. Prey is a new action/RPG game set in space station with aliens called Mimics running amok. Prey is inspired by System Shock 2 as it features a grid inventory, skill trees, crafting, and a metroidvania-esque structure. The game will also share some gameplay similarities with Arkane’s recently released title, Dishonored 2. Prey is powered by Crytek’s CRYENGINE and will be released on May 5h. Enjoy!

This is too good to be true

    1. Nah. Replicating most of SS2s game mechanics and character creation mechanics is easy. As is replicating the gameplay and atmosphere. What remains to be seen is if it will actually be as great as SS2 (doubtful, no game since has ever been as amazing).

  2. As much as I hate the name and the past that comes with it… -.-

I Was watching some footage earlier… yep, I’m in.
Saw some annoying things as usual (and a “hopefully to be improved until launch” PC options menu) but as soon as I’ve heard the soundtrack kicking in during the intro I was sold.

    Bollocks.

  3. While Antonov and the rest of the art crew at Arkane do a great job, I was kind of hoping they would leave the pastels and the gigantic bodyparts behind with Dishonored. Still going to buy for sure. But look at that dudes jowls. Damn. I hope they don’t have gimassive hands like in Dishonored 2.
