Dead by Daylight is free to play this weekend

Starbreeze and Behaviour Interactive have announced that Dead by Daylight is free to play this weekend. In order to celebrate this free weekend, Starbreeze is also offering the game with a 30% discount until December 19th.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed.

Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

The Survivors’ goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer – something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.

Those interested can head over to Steam and download the game.

Have fun!

  1. I’ve put so much time into this game, But the developers seem hell bent on breaking it after just about every patch. Still it s a really good game just tough on new comers.

  2. wow was hyped too play this but guess what?! last 4 (four) hours i cant play it! error, after error after error! omfg glad i didnt buy this before… disgusting. tech support is non existent and forum posts seem too be purposely burried! wow. no thanks. will update if i get this turd running.

  3. I don’t like this game much. The survivors shouldn’t see the world from a first-person perspective. It takes away from the thrill.
Also, there are many other problems. There are no interesting places to hide, maps seem too arena-like, animations are clunky, there’s too little gore and too much “demonic disintegrations”. The survivor characters aren’t likable and the killers aren’t really scary.

I hope Friday the 13th will be better than this.
