Radeon Pro Duo Announced – Dual-Fiji Graphics Card, Priced At $1500

AMD has just announced its dual-Fiji graphics card, called Radeon Pro Duo. This graphics card will be priced at $1500 and will be released in the coming weeks (as it’s planned for a Q2 2016 release). Do note that there will be limited availability of this graphics card, and that it requires three eight-pin power connectors.

Going into more details, and while AMD has not issued any official press release yet, the Radeon Pro Duo will offer 16 TFLOPs of compute performance. The card will be coming with two Fiji cores, boasting 4096 Stream Processors and 64 Compute Units running at around 1GHz. The card will also feature two 4GB of HBM VRAM.

AMD will showcase its new graphics card architecture, Polaris, in a couple of minutes at GDC 2016.

Until then, enjoy the following images, showcasing the AMD Radeon Pro Duo!

      1. Shhh, tell no one, I’m the middle of negotiations with a realiable source, or so my lawyers told me. Some guy that goes by the name of Ahmadinejad or something.

    1. They’re catching up with Polaris, basically doing what NVIDIA did with Maxwell 2 years ago while reselling the same GPUs.

    1. Don’t overestimate the persistence of hardware’s prices :).
They go down faster than you would think.

  1. Gotta love that red and black. Much prefer it over Nvidias color schmen.

I do in fact have an Nvidia gpu, so stay calm oh mighty Internets.

    1. I know. I like green, but man.. Black and RED? Damn. I almost think of it like this..

The girl in the red dress
      VS
The girl in the green (wtf?xD) dress 😛

      You know whos gonna win!

      1. Unless DX12 really does eventually offer stacked VRAM in Multi-GPU mode, games can only use 4GB. Learn how SLI/Crossfire (this card uses same-PCB Crossfire) currently work.

      2. This is precisely the kind of STUPID crap that gets me going….. Ignorance is one thing, and it does not anger me at all. No one knows everything so therefore everyone is in some way ignorant, but when you insult other people as a result of your ignorance, I have absolutely zero patience for you. You think you’re so smart and superior that your first reaction when seeing something you THINK is a mistake is to insult someone by saying “LEARN TO RWEEEDDDD” (yes, pronounced in the retarded fashion in which you appeared to sound when saying this) ….. You ****ing moron….. As the guy who initially replied to you said, LEARN TO UNDERSTAND MULTI-GPU TECHNOLOGY.

I really hope you spend the rest of your week evaluating your mistake, learning about the technology you were clearly ignorant about, and going back and apologizing to anyone you ever insulted for having what you believed to be incorrect information, because I bet, I absolutely bet you, at least 50% of the time it was YOU with the wrong information.

And remember, I’m not insulting you because you were ignorant. I’m insulting you because you insulted someone else AND were ignorant at the same time.
