Enough! This is what the industry gets for abandoning the PC platform in the first place >_<
WTF are you talking about?
I’m just sick of the constant remakes/remasters.
Thanks to Arkham Knight I see these kinds of delays this way: they are making the PS4 and XB1 versions first because they’re the hardest ones to make. Once those are done then they’ll port the final version to the PC. This is the ease of inter-platform porting that Mike Cerny had promised us when he first promoted the PS4.
The problem is all of the remakes and remasters.
That’s more of a can’tsole problem isn’t it?
I don’t see that many remasters on PC.
Deus Ex: Revision, exclusively on the PC.
Ehh but that’s a free mod for a game that is effectively a PC exclusive. You cant call a mod a remaster, in principle it can work that same way but still a optional add on for the base game.
How bout the linux version?
So its a Remake not a Remaster?
I love Darksiders 2. One of my all time favourite games. That said, other than some graphics tweaks, the definitive edition seems kinda redundant since it ran well on PC to begin with and looked good to boot (after some patches), especially with SweetFX.
Still, I will buy this game just to support the devs. 😀
Devs are long gone, both: THQ and Vigil.
Gunfire Games consists of many former Vigil employees including the director and Manager of Vigil. Most of the core staff is at Gunfire Games.
That’s me! Shade!
Congrats. You are a big celebrity now.
I’m going to wait by my mailbox for my celebrity checks to start arriving. I’ll let everyone here know when I get the first one.
Played 1, was awesome. Played about a half of two, then heard deathinitive edition, been waiting ever since. I knew it will come to PC.
Played DarkSiders 1 and loved it, I skipped 2 because of the myriad of DLC and some features that were not working anymore due to THQ’s demise. But if this edition gives me everything and more improved visuals, I’ll be getting it no questions asked.
well already have main game with all worthwile DLCs on steam … and from the “remaster edition” only thing i would want is the Inventory bugfix
Huh, that’s unexpected given that it hardly seems like much of an improvement over the original (much like Tomb Raider: Definitive which was never ported).
I picked the pair of games up for about £6 years ago so I’m happy to just play the versions I’ve got (the differences in the new version, from what I’ve seen, are slight anyway)
Hmm, should we fix a crippling savefile bug? Nah.. Let’s just sell the game again instead.
Damn. I like this series and I had a lot of fun with it, but I’m still too pissed at the fact that I bought all the DLCs and couldn’t play some of them because of that bug. I won’t pay for that game again.
One of my favorite games of all time!
Darksiders serise is one of my most favorite. Darksiders I was Awesome but II was as good as the 1st one. Darksiders II Story was kinda boring, Graphics was really bad compared to Darksiders I, gamepaly was kinda repetitive and many things were not explained at all but the wors was the PC port. it was a shity port.
Not planing to play this Deathinitive Edition, but I hope all the problem is fixed. And yes I recommend this game as this game is fun and Boss battle are Awesome. only few games are par with this game when comes to boss battle.
Now, I just hope Darksiders III comes soon and aslo I wont mind “Darksiders I Deathinitive Edition”
That is a cringe worthy title for the remaster.
Still waiting for SteamOS version to arrive…next month maybe?
