The demo for Forza Motorsport 6 has just been released on Xbox One, and YouTube’s ‘JuAnMaXoN GamePlayer’ shared a video comparing the latest PC version of Project CARS with it. We’ll let you decide which one looks best. Enjoy the video after the jump!

I will take Forza Motorsport 6 nine times out of ten over Project Cars even if the graphics are slightly worse. Forza Motorsport 6 is just a much better game and has almost 6 times the amount of cars than in Project Cars.
Nevermind the graphics, Forza seems to completely lack a proper sense of speed.
Thats because Project Cars is using a Gumpert Apollo R and Forza 6 is using a much slower Chevrolet Camaro.

Hmm the point of this comparison? Anyway Forza looks impressive to me even on limited hardware. If it were to be on PC, of course settings can maxed out and still getting 60FPS minus the AA

Forza has much better tuned driving experience and gameplay overall, its so much more polished

Are you a micorost employee? Or did MS paid you to say this? There is nothing like this on pc? So all multiplatform racers that are on pc like NFS Project cars F1 you say that are not as good as Forza? I dont care about racers and dont play it but to say that console excvulive raxer is better than a pc version is not true
They are not as good as Forza, nothing is. Same reason why Counter-Strike will always be better than COD or Battlefield, its the gameplay in which Forza has always excelled at. Obviously if Forza would be on PC someday in DX12 it would be untouchable in terms of visuals. All those ultra detailed cars you see in GTA ENB screenshots and videos are ripped from Forza Motorsport 4 Discs. At this point the only thing holding back Forza is the Xbox One. On PC imagine what Turn 10 Studios could do with a 980 Ti or Fury X which has 6-8 times the horsepower of an Xbox One.
Agreed. Forza has microsoft behind it and have been iterating on new versions for years fine tuning, tweaking, revamping, etc. It’s the ultimate racing game. Now, if you are into straight simulators, Forza and Project Cars fall behind because they are somewhat arcadey. Assetto Corsa is a true simulation and beats both games in realism. Realism doesn’t equal fun to everyone so that’s why we have both types of games.

how can you say that a game is good because “it has MS behind it”. Are you crazy? Forza plays like crap, its stiff and unrealistic and boring as all heck. And BF destroys Counterstrike, you are obviously living in th past kid. Forza feels like something from days gone by. Not up to date at all.
CounterStrike is a SPORT….while Battlefield is a GAME.

Forza is a much less realistic driving experience than Project Cars. Anyone claiming otherwise is delusional. I can’t speak about the other cars, but the Radical SR3 in project cars is by far the closest i’ve come across to driving the actual race car.
I agree that Forza is no where near as good a simulator as PCars is. And I also think its too arcade and feels fake and boring and stiff and something out of the 80’s.
If by “much better tuned driving experience and gameplay overall’ you mean a much lamer and boring game, than you’re right. Forza 6 feels like some serious old school simpleton game. Its stiff and unrealistic and quite boring.
pc version at 4k looks the best. Why this video compares 1080p and not 4k DSR PC vs 108p xbox? This will be the right comparision!

Some effects looks better in project cars, but graphic quality it’s very uneven in this game, and on top of that, Project Cars is very demanding at max details, I have slide show on my 680GTX. Yes, project cars can look photorealistic at times, especially with rain and cloudy weather, but most of the time I had a feeling, that I’m playing some unfinished game (because tracks lacks details and feel just flat, objects geometry is very simple in this game). To my eyes even forza 5 and 6 looks much more appealing. And when it comes to gameplay, I think project cars is made for very few people, mainly simulation enthusiasts with good racing wheels. I could play forza and gran turismo for months and have fun even on gamepad, but Project Cars is just too much (it was impossible to play at all on xbox360 gamepad).
Its funny that you complain about PCars feeling flat and having very simple object geometry when Forza does too. Forza’s very low poly tracks and barely any aa and dated play mechanics are from something years gone by. And GT is just as bad.
In forza 5 I can see objects till the end of the horizon, there is no “empty” or flat feeling. In in project cars there are very few details just outside the main road, and I just couldnt help to notice that (especialy in city tracks). It almost looks like tracks in project cars are just not completed.
And when it comes to gameplay, many new games are trying to reinvent the wheel, but I dont mind dated gameplay mechanics if only game is fun to play (I still play very old games for that reason).
BTW- How much Project Cars sold? One or two milion of copies? It’s very low score anyway for good game, there’s no comparison to forza and gt sales.
You cant compare a PC to a piece of crap console…end of discussion.

At leaet in forza i wont get “unhandled exception” errors,
How long the game exist? 6 months? My pc 980 ti oc to 1450mhz memory 7500 mhz 16 gb ram ddr3 2400 mhz i7 3770k 4.2 ghz still this problem wasnt fixed and lol the way to fix in the forums disable all your oc f*** no all my games run perfectly,reinstall windows like i said i have no problems apart this game,dont get me wrong the game is beautifull and seems great but i cant enjoy it more than 2 minutes before that error thats the kind of game that make me hate pc gaming
well, project cars is an overall winner in terms graphics and anything related, dynamic wheather, day/night cycle, shadows,lighting etc… but in terms of content, there is not much to it, 450+ cars in forza 6 vs. 80~ cars in PCars and lack of a good campaign
There’s not supposed to be a freaking campaign in a racing game… Why people want to grind in a racing game is beyond me. its about skill and getting better. not earning X amount of money to unlock dozens of boring cars until you get to a good one…
well maybe for a person who plays racing games in a pro level you are right, but for me it’s about fun and looking at more variety of cars and being able to unlock them, inspect them etc.. because of that i like more cars in a racing game and a casual to medium difficulty curve for a campaign to give me more stuff to look at and play with.
The amount of cars in a racer has nothing to do with some campaign designed to bloat a gamers experience with a currency grind.
Want awesome cars? use the car you want and race that circuit and become champ. raise the difficulty and get better.
Why do you need a campaign to give you something to do? is the actual gameplay not enough? Why gate content in a car game like its a rpg?
as i said before, i don’t care about the racing part that much but on the other hand number of cars is important for me. that campaign is just a casual busy work to unlock more cars that’s it but games like PCars or assetto corsa also failed in those parts too.

I’ve played Forza 4 on xbox360.and yes on PC i didn’t had anything else like that, and yes every car you see in GTA IV and V with ENB and stuff is a rip from FORZA 4 DISC(xbox360 game)… MS is a sh**ty company but hey…. you have windows on your pc right, you have DirectX runing capability right, so if MS is no more then no more GAME at all. linux so far doesn’t support games. RIGHT. Project Cars on PC is buggy, long loading, etc (maybe xbox one is a piece of crap console, but games are better. On PC every developer unoptimize their games, make so high system requirements, an xbox is 350/400 $ a PC to have better graphics you need at least 1000 $, and to that add the fact that you buy games on both right (you are not a PIRATE).
P.S: i had an xbox 360 and a PC (config year 2007), on xbox i played FAR CRY 3, Tomb Raider 2010, Crysis 1,2,3, Hitman Absolution, etc on that PC…. well i had only DX9 support. and those games came with dx 11 (far cry 3 only 10 FPS in 1280×720 low settings), now i have a PC with an HD7870 OC 2GB DDR5, 8 gb DDR3,and a Phenom II X4 975 at 3.6 Ghz. i need an upgrade RIGHT. for upcoming titles. I have to work my ass for 280$ in my country per month. HOW TO BUY PC components and games. just an example from that 280$ after rent and food only 40 $ for personal stuff. not everyone have 1000 euro or dollars a month, so console is GOOD thing.

1) That 7870 is still better than a XB1. A XB1 has a 1.3 TFLOP AMD GPU. A 7870 is like 2.5. The XB1 is a POS.
2) You can lock PC Games to 30 FPS (like the consoles) with Radeon Pro with a CPU that is not super powerful. It is called half vsync in Radon Pro and you can frame limit it to 30 with Riva Statistics Tuner (free and comes with MSI Afterburner). On Nvidia use adaptive half vsync in control panel. Forza Horizons 2 ran at 30 FPS…
3) You forgot to add in Xbox Live fees.
4) Sites like cheapshark show you the lowest price on a PC Game from all the digital distros and they are WAY cheaper than Xbox One games.
5) PC High and Ultra settings are not even remotely close to the POS XB1 in many games. It is a shame game devs do not put “XB1” setting on settings in games. If they did though? People would realize what a POS the console was.
P.S. Enjoy the potato and spending thousands more the next few years than a PC Gamer will on Games/Xbox Live fees and lunacy like EA early access, which is a laughable extra fee that could only work on console gamers.

Not only are the graphics better in PCars but the driving is as well. Only thing we need is more cars and tracks.
