The team behind the ambitious Morrowind mod for Skyrim, Skywind, has released a new trailer that shows the game’s updated locations, NPCs and monsters. As always, this is early footage and everything is subject to change. Moreover, as the team noted, this video shows a tiny fraction of what it has been working on as it mainly just wants everyone to know it is still alive and working just as hard without spoiling too much. Enjoy!

I have zero interest in playing Morrowind with Skyrim’s dumbed down mechanics, however I hope some of those assets can be used in openMW.
Wait, this mod will keep Skyrim skills and mechanics? Interest suddenly dropped to zero.
I’m still hoping they’ll change their minds, but it is a stupid mistake indeed
I agree with you, Skywind looks nice, but it still have Skyrims gameplay mechanics. For OpenMW idk, it is not finished & full of bugs if you want to play Morrowind with style, just use this : Morrowind Overhaul (1.6GB)

(it is one click install wizard with tons of customization)
I can’t recommend it enouth, it’s great for people new to Morrowind, some people disregard it in favor of learning how to mod, but they have to understand that some people simply don’t have the time to learn how to mod yet another game they still don’t know they’re going to like.
