Theory Interactive has broken its radio silence and has released a beta demo for its upcoming single player co-op first person puzzle game, Reset. Reset looks beautiful and its one of those indie games we are extremely looking forward to. Below you can also view a gameplay walkthrough from YouTube’s ‘IamPetard / Variety Gaming’. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Looks brilliant!
If I am not mistaken, this is being developed by 2 guys, correct?
Damn impressive….
Glad this game is finally coming together. Can’t wait to play it when its finished.
I have been waiting on your game since I first heard about it.
Did you change engines? I swear it looks nothing like the teasers we saw.
Still looking forward to your release.
Petard isn’t the developer. These two are the devs: http://reset-game.net/?page_id=2/
The engine is in-house, so no, it’s not different. Keep in mind this is a beta preview.
Zoom in on the floor/barrier in this shot. Is this “dither” pattern present in the original screenshots or is it compression?

Looks awful and reminds me of the noise filter in Crysis 2.
My mistake. I swear I thought he was somehow involved in the game somewhere in the last few years. Thanks for clearing that up.
And the engine being theirs is great but I also seem to recall the trailer looking vastly different. Maybe I am losing my mind. Thanks again.
