  1. No, thank you. I won’t wait several months for 1:1 console port, with gameplay very similar to Dynasty Warriors.

    1. The PC version is releasing alongside the console versions. Don’t know where you’re getting the “several months” from as far as the port is concerned. As for the gameplay, it’s obviously going to be similar to Dynasty Warriors since it is part of the Warriors metaseries.

      1. You are right. I seen gameplay videos in youtube so I thought it’s already released but turns out only in Japan. NA/EU release after several months.

        1. Omega Force is developing the game. I’m not sure who’s handling the PC version in particular.

  2. after DW8 and DW8 Empire and DOA5 another last gen port, really ? why ? let me guess, next is Bladestorm: Nightmare. also false advertisment again, trailer and screens on steam are from PS4 version but we will get PS3

    1. I play DW8. Didnt even know it’s a port of the last gen version. Just assumed they didn’t upgrade the graphics much.

      1. Well, the next gen version is not actually any better. Besides a few shadows and some better lighting nothing is different.

        1. Yeah keep justifying lazy development, If you repeat a lie many times, people are bound to start believing it.

  3. I love the DW series. And this will be my first One Piece game made by the DW guys. Looking forward to it!

    1. Bandai Namco news, Tecmo Koei game request…
Still do you want Tecmo Koei half assed ports? Thats why Japanese devs doesnt even care about the quality of the port, they can do any cashgrab and people still buy it.
Edit: Ok, just saw the steam page and Tecmo Koei is developing this, that means a crap port for this game.

  4. Its a real shame what is happening with Tecmo games on Steam, after first DW game everyone tought this was going to be Dark SOuls over again, yeah a company releasing their first console exclusive game on Steam, they need to learn, but Tecmo didnt learn and now after second DW8 game and Dead or Alive, its obvious than crap ports will become a trendy for them.
Worst of all, is fanboys bashing at bad reviewers, because they just told the truth about the game being a lazy port. Nobody said the game itself is bad but, God, as port is a piece of sh!t, the game even doesnt have achievements and worst of all, the camera control present on console versions is absent on the PC version.
But fanboys wants more PS3 or Arcade versions to be ported to Steam, the same fanboys that say indie games are sh!t. Well if AAA japanese games are like Tecmo, then Ill pass.
