CCP Games has released a new gameplay trailer for EVE: Valkyrie, putting us in the cockpit of a heavily-armed starfighter in the most realistic zero-G shooter available on any platform. EVE: Valkyrie is currently being developed for Oculus Rift (PC) and Project Morpheus (PS4), and promises to feature intense team-based dogfights, immersive VR gaming technology, and the dark sci-fi setting of the EVE Online universe. Enjoy!

This is coming out for PC, too, right? I don’t think they would forget about us. Also, the Vive will probably be the way to go. Laser-tracking sounds cool and is super-accurate to boot.
Meh, it’s basically arcade Eve Online with Eve assets thrown in,
I know, can’t wait 🙂
Wow, will this be sandbox or a linear story line?
A bunch of people fighting between this and starcitizen, i´d rather have both.
What I played of it so far was just multiplayer and thats what I thought it was going to be but this trailer makes it look like a story driven singleplayer game. Could be just tutorial missions to introduce people to MP though we will have to wait and see.
The game looks a lot better in VR too, this trailer doesnt do it justice.
I see, does the multiplayer have capital ship combat too?
Its the first time iv seen it look like this, the demo I played a year ago was just a space station in the middle of the combat area with asteroids around it. There was a capital ship that you shot out of at the beginning like this video but I dont remember it doing anything other than just float there after that.
Gotta wait and see then. Thanks for taking the time.
Looks great for now but will be downgraded before release. Should’ve developed it for PC only.
Unreal Engine 4 is quite scalable though, I think it would have been a lot worse if they stayed with the Unity Engine.
Everything scales well these days before the final build, then everything starts too looks like cra*p.
CCP Games have definitely upgraded the visual fidelity since it was last shown off. Seriously can’t wait to play this game!
