Dirty Bomb Is Now Exclusive On Steam

Nexon has announced a partnership with Valve to bring its PC first-person shooter Dirty Bomb exclusively to the Steam platform. Developed by UK-based Splash Damage, Dirty Bomb is an objective-based shooter set in an bombed-out, futuristic London, where an array of colorful Mercenaries run amok, battling to control what remains of the city’s riches.

The game’s Mercs and asymmetrical team play aims to return PC FPS gaming to its classic, skill-based route.

Prior to this, Dirty Bomb has been in a limited early beta, but today kicks off its wider closed beta on Steam.

Running on dedicated servers, the game will now deliver matchmaking, chat and parties, with additional Valve solutions coming soon through the Steamworks program.

Enjoy!

  1. Steam is such an amazing Platform for independent or smaller devs. All you have to do is release a quality game and just sit back and count the pile of money that will be generated over the next few years.

  2. I was playing it yesterday and noticed quite a few changes from the old builds. Kind of miss the old way of customizing your characters / loadouts which is now replaced with a variety of collectable cards which give different perks, weapons and skins.
