Here Is What Metroid Coud Look Like In Unreal Engine 4

Our reader ‘Nick Parladikhs’ has informed us about a new video, showing what Metroid could look like in Epic’s next-gen engine, Unreal Engine 4. Created by ‘kwstasg’ this video borrows the environment of the Reclections Tech Demo from Unreal Engine 4 and shows a real-time model of Samus. It looks cool, so be sure to give it a go!

      1. wii was just two gamecubes merged together power wise, wii-u is just 3 wii`s merged together. nintendo rather have crappy gimicks then good graphics.

        1. All Nintendo first parties have good graphics*. Wii only lack was resolution (just see they running on Dolphin, it’s awesome).
Still you only pointed hardware “thingies” (which I don’t, even partially, disagree).
We could argue about latest lightning systems, physics simulations, 4K gaming and all that stuff, but PC serves us in this case right?

*I believe that Art style is what fits better here. Still a fair point IMO.

    1. i think the cartoonish style is intentional, still remember that gritty zelda cgi and then…..windwaker came out. pfffff

  1. Meh. Don’t add particles just to showcase UE4 having emissive particles. I also hate when these videos make everything shiny to showoff screenspace reflections and image based rendering. It should be subtle please don’t overdo it.
