There is no doubt that Unreal Engine 4-powered games will look stunning. Although they may never come close to the Infiltration tech demo, the visuals that indie devs and modders have achieved in due time are simply gorgeous. Today, we bring you an image from a Deus Ex: Human Revolution map that was created in Unreal Engine 4. Created by Polycount’s member ‘Disting‘, this map shows incredible reflections and metal surfaces. This is a huge graphical jump (compared to the original DE: HR) so make sure to view the screenshot after the jump!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Looks great! I’m definitely looking forward to the future.
Hopefully they use a better engine for the next game. Developer commentary in the Director’s Cut even mentioned how hard the engine for DXHR was to work with, and as a result had to cut out some pretty significant portions of the game.
Wow. It makes me wonder why that happened. Did the developers choose to make their job harder or was it the publisher’s fault? When it comes to which engine to use, the publisher has a lot of say. Sometimes they refuse to use a certain engine for “political” reasons. EA, for example, won’t use anything other than Frostbite.
nithing i have not seen in cryengine
This is so shrimp!!!!
If only Deus Ex: Mankind Divided used this engine
It made me think that this game could’ve been 10x better than the current version if it was PC exclusive (or targeted for PC first) like the original Deus Ex . Such a waste of potential , still a great game though .
So true mate, well lets hope for the future it relly will be like that!
It’s pretty much that for every game nowadays.
There were lots of little errors and annoyances other than just graphics with Deus Ex: HR. Overall it’s decent enough, I guess, but a better developer could’ve done so much more with the IP.
Just a picture? I came for a video and a photogallery or something…Show us more.
This is so cool
