Infinity Ward has released a new update for the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts that adds a FOV slider. Although we don’t have any release notes for this new update, we do know that PC gamers are able now to raise the FOV from its default value to 80 (80 is its max value).
This update is 454MB in size and will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client.
We’ll be sure to update this post with the release notes the moment we get them.
Enjoy and stay tuned!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Well that’s unfortunate.
Least it’s something though. Hopefully they implement an FoV changer in the remaining CoDs.
I’m not playing until it stops freezing/crashing my pc! F-ghost and Cod until then
ok, now we just need to elimenate the stuttering on random high end machines and put in a latency indicator and i may think about playing this waste of cash. I apparently get a constant 90fps but it still stutters like hell, i run crysis 3 maxed with 4x msaa at 60fps and it is way smoother than this is at 90.
I dont know how that will help me, does it mean that Ill be killed 3 or 4 times within a minute in Free-4-all multi player mode ? Couldnt DSOGaming start making great instruction videos in how you become a great mass murderer in Call of Duty Multiplayer for newcomers to the series? As it is, I dont play it much (I prefer 4 player co-op Extinction) because I dont like to be killed 4 times within a minute.
lets see how it effect the frame rate
BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA 80 max, might aswell not have a slider. 80 is console level.
console is 65, pc is typically 90. dont be an idiot.
Console FOVs range from 50 to 80. PC FOVs range from 90 to 120. 80 is console tier. Your screen would have to be absolutely tiny for you to be most comfortable at 80 degrees. Small FOVs are for console players who sit far away from their screens. PC monitors only got larger over the years, FOVs should have been increasing over the last decade instead of being dragged down by console standards.
Haha, I play with the max FoV on any game, and most games have 110, so I play with it, but 80 is good, well better than 65 😛
