Yesterday, Dave Cox – producer of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series – teased a surprise for PC gamers and fans of the upcoming Castlevania title. When a fan asked whether there would be a pre-order for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Dave Cox replied and said that alongside the pre-order – that will go live soon – there will be a ‘little surprise’.

Now this surprise could mean two things: a) a PC demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will become available when the game is available for pre-order or b) the rumored PC version of Castlevania: Mirror of Fate HD will be added as a bonus to those who pre-purchase it.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is currently scheduled for a February release on PC, X360 and PS3.
Stay tuned for more!

yep, its either Mirror of Fate HD or a demo for LOS2 or both 😉
Or super graphics, that consoles can not have xD
That is already going to be there. PC version will look like another game 🙂
I now, developers sad, that PC version – just like next-gen game
surprise: mouse support
IT FCKN BETTER, no game with free camera should ever not have mouse support.
Probably get first game for free if you preorder.
The port will be good?
good one
And why wouldn’t it? Have you played the first one? Its a great port. Extremely optimized and 90% of the textures are high res. Scales super well on low hardware too. Just a bit shy of extra PC graphics options but thats ok.
The engine being the same(i assume) should mean it would port over just as well unless the Devs all go into mini strokes during the development of the PC version.
Come on man stop being so negative all the time. In mercury steam we trust.
ehmm, its a scripted camera beat em up game from 2010 it should freaking run well no matter what. The graphics are the same as the console version there isnt anything new. I didnt say the port was bad, i mapped the attack buttons on mouse and i was good to go, but overall there is always something to criticize in this site when it comes to pc versions.
Probably a demo, he confirmed on Twitter that there will be one.
Oh man, I really can’t wait for this game, IT LOOKS SO DAMN GOOD! AAAH HURRY UP FEBRUARY!
More region locks for all Konami games?
I suspect the surprise will be that Mirror of Fate HD will be ported to PC, too. Not that it’ll be added as a bonus to preorders.
Publishers tend to think just releasing a game on PC is a day worthy of song and story.
