The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Rebirth 7.2 Available for Download

Modder ‘trancemaster_1988’ has released a brand new version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Rebirth. So, let’s see what version 7.2 brings to the table.

Morrowind Rebirth 7.2 adds new items, improves many areas, and fixes a wide range of bugs. The update also brings new models, better textures, and small changes that make the world feel more alive.

One of the biggest changes is to the world itself. Several towns and key areas have been improved. The update reworks docks in Hla Oad and Suran, as well as travel stops in Vivec and Seyda Neen. The area near the castle in Ebonheart has also been rebuilt. Other changes add more detail to the waters near Vivec, improve farms, and give Dagon Fel a new watchtower. Many homes and shops now have more items and details, too.

The update also adds new gear and items to find. Players can get new armor, rare items, and many new magic amulets. These amulets cover a wide range of skills, from Sneak and Speechcraft to Alchemy and Destruction. The update also adds new items tied to the Bloodmoon expansion, three new ingredients, and 10 collector coins. Some rare items have also been improved, including Frostsong, which now weighs less.

Combat and game balance have seen a few changes as well. Some unique creatures now use a wider range of spells. Loot from the Bloodmoon expansion has more variety, while guild supply chests offer fewer free items. Absinthe is now less potent and can cause more blindness if used too often. This makes other drinks and items more useful.

Visual updates are another key part of version 7.2. Many items now have new models or icons, and several textures have been fixed. These changes affect armor, weapons, rings, shields, and other items. The Staff of Magnus now has an animated model, while Grazelands trees have improved textures. The update also fixes hundreds of mesh issues, helping reduce bad textures, gaps, and objects that look out of place.

Version 7.2 also fixes many bugs across the game. It corrects broken spells and enchantments, fixes missing sounds, and repairs gaps in floors and other parts of the world. It also fixes problems with signs and banners that moved indoors, as well as issues with NPC spells. Quest icons now work better for items from Tribunal and Bloodmoon. A fix for the Morrowind Patch Project is also included.

Finally, the update adds new compatibility patches for the latest versions of Skyrim Home of the Nords and Project Cyrodiil. These help players who use those mods alongside their setup.

Speaking of Morrowind, you might like these other mods for it. TES3MP 0.8.1 is a mod that adds support for multiplayer and VR. In November 2023, we also shared the first version of a World of Warcraft Mod. Oh, and there is also a 32GB 4K Texture Pack for it. There is also this mod that adds voices to all NPCs on the mainland. Finally, you can download an early version of an RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod.
