NVIDIA has released the GeForce hotfix driver 610.82 for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, this driver addresses issues with Halo: Campaign Evolved and Path of Exile 2. So, let’s dive in.
The NVIDIA GeForce hotfix driver 610.82 resolves some stability issues in Halo: Campaign Evolved on the GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. So, if you are planning on playing it, you might want to use this driver. If not, you can safely skip it.
This hotfix driver also fixes some intermittent long pauses that could occur in Path of Exile 2 after extended gameplay sessions in DX12 mode.
And that’s it. These are the two issues this hotfix driver addresses. If you are not planning on playing Halo: Campaign Evolved or Path of Exile 2, you should not upgrade to it. Right now, I have not heard of any issues with this driver. Still, if you are stable with your current drivers, you should stick with them.
Those interested can go ahead and download the driver from this link. Below, you can also find its changelog.
Halo: Campaign Evolved will come out in Early Access later today. The game will be fully released on July 28. My guess is that the next major WHQL driver will be released on that date.
Stay tuned for more!
