Brand New Gameplay Trailer for FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE

Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming 2D-HD FINAL FANTASY game, FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. This trailer packs almost 3 minutes of gameplay footage, so if you’ve been looking forward to it, you should definitely check it out.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is based on the first story arc of FINAL FANTASY Brave Exvius. However, it is much more than a simple port of the mobile game. The developers have rebuilt and expanded it into a full RPG for PC and consoles.

The game blends a classic look with modern visuals. Pixel-style 3D characters and dynamic camera angles make battles and story scenes feel more exciting.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE takes players on a classic RPG adventure through a world filled with familiar FINAL FANTASY features. Along the way, players will find airships, crystals, espers, moogles, and many other fan-favorite elements.

Like many classic FINAL FANTASY games, RESONANCE uses turn-based combat. Players can target enemy weaknesses to stagger them and break their defenses. This earns extra turns and lets players unleash powerful Resonance attacks during cinematic battles. Success depends on smart planning and careful use of each character’s abilities.

Players can also strengthen their party with Visions. These are echoes of famous FINAL FANTASY heroes that fight alongside the team. Each Vision has unique skills and abilities, giving players many ways to build their party and customize their battle style.

The world is also full of secrets to discover. Players can meet the legendary swordsman Gilgamesh, battle powerful monsters in the Colosseum, and earn valuable rewards. They can also explore the Chamber of Arms, where dangerous enemies are sealed inside legendary weapons. For those seeking the greatest challenge, the game also features a battle against the mighty Ultima Weapon.

Square Enix will release FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE on October 26. On PC, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. You can also find its official PC requirements here.
