It appears that the sequel to Cassette Beasts, Cassette Beasts 2002, has been leaked. From what I have gathered, Raw Fury was planning to reveal this game during the PC Gaming Show on June 7th. However, its official gameplay trailer has been leaked online.
For those who did not know, Cassette Beasts is a Pokemon-like game in which players can collect awesome monsters to use during turn-based battles. Players could combine any two monster forms using Cassette Beasts’ Fusion System to create unique and powerful new ones.
The first game was an open-world RPG with an online multiplayer mode. So, my guess is that its sequel will simply go bigger.
According to its leaked description, the game will have over 240 beasts. Players can combine these beasts into over 50,000 combinations, all fully animated.
If you are a PC Pokemon fan, this is the game for you. Right now, the first game has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam. Despite that, though, the game only had a peak of 2.7K concurrent players. However, I’m certain its sequel will do better, provided it gets enough exposure.
There is currently no ETA for when Cassette Beasts 2002 will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Below you can find its leaked gameplay trailer. Since this is a leaked trailer, it could be taken down in a matter of minutes. So, be sure to watch it while it’s still available.
Enjoy!
