Pearl Abyss has just released Title Update 1.09.00 for Crimson Desert and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 1.09.00 adds a controller remapping feature. Moreover, it adds around 30 species of small animals that can be registered as pets. Plus, it adds animations for picking up and putting down certain pets, as well as new skills for Oongka and Damiane.
Patch 1.09.00 also comes with some control and combat tweaks. For instance, it fixes an issue where the “Scythe” could not be used in safe zones. It also fixes an issue where the “Mining Knuckledrill” could not be used while clinging to a wall.
Furthermore, Update 1.09.00 fixes an issue where using “Evasive Kick” while unarmed would not consume Spirit. It also fixes an issue where “Blinding Flash Finisher” could be used even with insufficient Spirit. And it adjusts the amount of stagger meter increase from “Quaking Fury”.
It’s also worth noting that it resolves a couple of graphical issues. To be more precise, it fixes an issue where shadows of some distant objects were not rendered correctly when the “Raytraced Sun/Moon Light Shadows” option was enabled. It also fixes an issue where the “Raytraced Sun/Moon Light Shadows” option was not being applied.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its full patch notes.
