NVIDIA has just released a new GeForce Hotfix driver for its graphics cards. According to the green team, the NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix 581.94 fixes some performance issues that were caused by the Windows 11 KB5066835 Update.
This driver is only for those running the latest version of Windows 11. If you use Windows 10, you can safely skip it.
For those unaware, Microsoft has released a new Security Update for Windows 11, the KB5066835 Update. Since this is a Security Update, it’s a must for all those who use Win 11.
According to NVIDIA, that update introduced some performance issues on its graphics cards. So, this hotfix driver attempts to rectify that issue. I’m still using Windows 10 so I can’t test it to see whether the KB5066835 Update had a major performance hit on NVIDIA’s hardware. I also don’t know whether this performance issue affects AMD’s and Intel’s GPUs.
Anyway, if you use Windows 11 and have an NVIDIA GPU, you can go ahead and download this new hotfix driver from here.
Stay tuned for more!
