Modder “BabaBooey88” has released a new mod for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 that unlocks the game’s hidden Epic graphics settings. This mod aims to make the game look much better. So, if you have a high-end GPU, you should definitely try it out.
Going into more details, this mod will enhance the game’s reflections, shadows, and GI. Not only that, but it will improve the aliased Sun Shafts. That was one of my big issues with Bloodlines 2. Thanks to this mod, though, God Rays are more detailed. Moreover, the mod can completely remove the vignette and chromatic aberration effects.
The downside is that this mod will, obviously, increase the game’s GPU requirements. That’s why I only recommend it to those who have a high-end GPU.
I’ve tried the mod, and I can confirm it fixes most of the Lumen visual problems I mentioned in my PC Performance Analysis. Reflections are much smoother now and not as noisy as before. The lighting glitches from Lumen are also greatly reduced. Plus, if you use the higher Rendering Quality Control settings, you can remove the jagged edges on the God Rays.
In short, this is a must-have for those who want a better image quality. As I wrote in my PC Performance Analysis, I can understand why the devs have hidden these settings. Still, it’s good to have a mod that can unlock them.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. Below, you can also find some comparison screenshots. On the left, you will find the vanilla shots. On the right, we have the modded screenshots. These will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

this it?
wow its much better and natural.there was also similar mods on that page for other ue5 games like hell is us .what are these mods?so cool .its not reshade crap or
ini tweaks.its something new and awesome wow and so easy to install.
Shadows look less dark in the epic settings and that's it, it looks like "reshade crap" that will crap all over fps.
So the vanilla GI is very cut down…
LOL is there a mod to unlock the RPG mechanics?
The graphics weren’t really an issue. It’s the dull lifeless gameplay in between story segments. Story is great. But everything in between crap. The resonance harvesting hence. Same crap animation on every NPC’s face. Only a few different face models used. Men/women having opposite gender moaning audio when you’re feeding on them. Receptive boringness. Crap combat. Like beyond crap combat. It’s just such a failure. And it’s unfortunate because the story had potential.
So the epic graphics settings amounts to what it looks like a reshade you download on modding sites? Makes sense for them to hide it then.
I can barely tell the difference, that carpet on the left actually looks worse in the first comparison because it's got an insane amount of chromatic aberration.
Oh wow, really? That's great.
Anyway, I'll go play Paperboy, because its RPG mechanics are way more advanced than in VTMB2.
