PC demos released for Painkiller Remake, REANIMAL, Beneath, Ronin Awakening, and more

Steam’s Next Fest event is a go, and a number of PC demos have been released. As such, I’ve decided to share those I found interesting in one big article. So, let’s get started.

The first PC demo we recommend downloading is the one for the remake/reimagining of Painkiller. In this demo, players can team up with friends or play offline to take down hordes of demons in fast-paced combat. I know a lot of you have been skeptical about this remake. So, make sure to try the demo as it will give an idea of what you can expect from it. You can go ahead and download it from this link.

Then we have the demo for Beneath. Beneath promises to be an unapologetically tough single-player shooter, and this demo will give you a taste of it. If you are a fan of FEAR, I highly recommend trying it.

Ronin Awakening is an interesting third-person action adventure game. In this game, you will assume the role of Takashi, who travels the captivating landscapes and becomes entangled in a war between the forest gods and the hideous demon. The game’s combat aims to blend precision swordplay with mystical powers. You can download its demo from here.

REANIMAL is the new game from the devs behind Little Nightmares I & II. In this horror adventure game, a brother and sister go through hell to rescue their missing friends and escape the island that they used to call home. You can download its demo from here.

There is also a demo for Simon the Sorcerer Origins. Simon the Sorcerer Origins is the prequel to the cult classic Point-and-Click adventure series. In this new adventure, Simon, returns to reveal secrets and stories from his past. In the demo, you will experience a part of chapter 3. You can download it from this link.

Of Ash and Steel is an upcoming immersive third-person open-world RPG. The game will let players explore the lands of a once-prosperous island. Players will also hone their combat skills and survive in the unforgiving realm of the Kingdom of the Seven. You can download its demo from here.

Next is Pathologic 3. In this psychological horror game, you are a doctor with only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague. You will make ruthless decisions and diagnose with precision. You’ll also shape the town’s future and rewrite the past. Pathologic 3 is coming to PC in January 2026, and you can get its demo from here.

Another interesting game is Bullet Ballet. Bullet Ballet feels like a mix of Ubisoft’s XIII and Lucas Arts’ Outlaws. Set in the unforgiving frontier, this comic book-inspired journey places the fate of a father and son in the hands of the Wild West. You can download its demo from this link.

Speaking of games that bring back the good old days, we also have Exo Rally Championship. This game reminds me of Psygnosis’ Rollcage. You can download its demo from this link.

Finally, we have the demos for NORSE: Oath of Blood, CONSTANCE, Painted In Blood, Insomnia: Chapter One, The Last Caretaker, and Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown.

Have fun!

    1. battlefield 6=trash

      fake battlefield game

no mod tools, no real pc game, no hosting your own dedicated servers.

      1. This is the sh󠀀i󠀀t taste of the soy koshervative gaymer.

No really, @disqus_TJlBR9UIzY:disqus really is a Je󠀀w-loving POS.

  1. Dude wtf thats not Painkiller. I´d rather overdose on real painkillers than playing this ever again. Beyond cringe

  2. painkiller is another coop slop, hope it good but aside from graphics it doesnt seem to be like painkiller, the best thing about painkiller is the level design and all i see there is environments that could be made by ai in a roguelike game.

i support the idea of indie devs making 2005-2008 style story focused horror shooters ,but beneath looks rough.

that viking game seems on spot, but its another survival crafting game. But hey at least they look like vikings and the women are pretty

that star trek game would be a dream come true over a decade ago if not more when star trek was relevant.
