WUCHANG Fallen Feathers feature-3

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Patch 1.6 Released With VRAM and Performance Improvements

Leenzee has released Title Update 1.6 for WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. According to the team, this patch brings both VRAM and performance improvements. As such, the game will now run smoother on your PC.

Going into more details, the devs were able to reduce the amount of VRAM that the game requires. This is a crucial improvement for everyone who owns a GPU with 8GB of VRAM. Plus, the update can slightly improve overall performance.

YouTube’s ‘S2Games Bench’ has tested this patch. On an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 FE, they saw a 12% performance increase on Medium Settings over the launch version. On Ultra Settings, the performance is not as significant. From what I can see, there is only a 7% performance increase.

Anyway, it’s good to see the devs implementing additional optimizations to it. WUCHANG is a game that looks absolutely gorgeous on PC. And, with these VRAM tweaks, more PC gamers will be able to enjoy it.

Title Update 1.6 also fixes an issue where, under DLSS Ultra Performance mode at certain screen resolutions, the image appeared overly blurry. I personally do not recommend DLSS Ultra Performance, even when gaming at 4K. But hey, this is just me. Others may want to use it to reach higher resolutions.

As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch the client. Leenzee has not shared a changelog for this update, which is 5.3GB in size. The patch is so large because it includes exclusive expansion content for the Deluxe Edition. You can find more details about it here.

Have fun!
