Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 Officially Announced, Coming to PC in 2026

Deep Silver and KING Art Games officially unveiled Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 at Opening Night Live at Gamescom. The long-awaited new entry into the iconic real-time strategy series will be arriving on PC in 2026. Below, you can also find its debut trailer.

In Dawn of War 4, players will take control of four powerful Warhammer 40,000 factions, each with its own unique style, units, and strategies. For the very first time in the series, the Adeptus Mechanicus will join the fight, bringing their strange technology and deadly war machines to the battlefield. The game will include over 70 campaign missions, packed with huge battles and cinematic moments that push the story forward.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 will bring back the classic gameplay fans love, with battles that feel more intense than ever. You’ll build your base, grow your army, and customize your squads to fit your strategy. The game will also expand the Sync Kill system, letting you see detailed and brutal melee combat like never before.

Players will get tons of replayable game modes, including the fan-favorite Last Stand. You can fight tough AI opponents in Skirmish mode, or battle other players online in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 multiplayer. No matter how you play, you’ll be able to use the Painter tool to customize your army and show off your own style. You can also fight using well-known factions from the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

  1. The game looks alright if a tad cartoonish, but damn, that CGI trailer and that cover art looks terrible.

  2. Cartoonish…AGAIN
    1:17 Look at space marines at the bottom left, their animation and AI is grouped, making them look static.
    If you look at individual soldiers in coh1 or dow2, each soldier or space marine or any other unit looks like they have a mind of their own, they look believable.
    Relic has not been able to do the same since then
